This was my amateur attempt at taking an announcement photo.   She will be 6 weeks old on Monday -- where has the time gone!  We are still struggling with the reflux but we are hanging in there.  Anne had a wonderful doctor's visit on Monday -- She has grown a whole inch since birth and is now weighing in at nearly 10 pounds!

...but I got my way and made it to the bouncy chair.  Anne is being treated for baby acid reflux so the bouncy chair is the name of the game right now!

Anne's new favorite activity is to watch the ceiling fan.  

Hello Uncle John!

John was here for Charleston Race Week sailing with Robin Team on Teamwork.  He got to sneak away for a few minutes Friday night to meet Miss Anne.  She loved him instantly!

Happy Easter! Anne's first!

We had a nice Easter yesterday celebrating with Baby Anne. Her Big Aunt Hopie gave her a sweetgrass Easter basket. According to Hopie, every Charleston girl has to have one. We had our first playdate with our friend McLean -- She is a lot bigger than Anne.  I took her to the doctor this morning an weighed her and she is 8 lbs. 7 ounces!

2 weeks old today!

Anne is two weeks old today.  Her umbilical cord stump fell off yesterday in my brother's lap while he was holding her.  He and Emily came for the Bridge Run this weekend and met her for the first time.  We are starting daily tummy time --- this is not her favorite activity yet.

Don't I look cute in my purple jammies -- I love to wear jammies but I would rather party all night long than sleep!
